How to hire a candidate successfully?

Dear Reader,

Welcome to my blog. My name is Shiva Krishnan and I am an author, social media marketer, a blogger and a Youtube Video creator ( this is my Channel link https://youtu.be/92POg6j2bac

I will provide a brief overview of my blog. My blog is about tips and stories that help people and my blog is
for those who are in search of positive,  powerful, empowering, inspiring stories, tips related to sales and marketing and most importantly those who are looking to solve a problem.

Now before you read this blog I would like to remind you that my blog is not for those who are seeking grammatical perfection. Having said this, I would do my best to ensure that anyone reading this blog is able to understand my blog.

So let me take you to my blog which is about recruitment and so I am sharing a  very valuable tip related to recruitment which is based on my experience and it is in alignment with 10x rule by my mentor  Grant Cardone. So when I started off this year in April 2020 into recruitment as a freelancer, I did get some breakthrough or in other words  "little success" in the first month and I do not have any degree in HR or diploma why go so far, I have not even done an HR certification course. Yet I was able to meet my target as a freelancer where I did not get any pay. So without any further explanation, I will share you a powerful  tip using which  you can  get success with recruitment regardless of whether you are a fresher or experienced recruiter

Now I see recruiters posting a job ad in LinkedIn or any job portal and wait for candidate's response.  While there is nothing wrong with that, it is inadequate and may not provide you with results. So for getting  better results  here is a combination you can employ simultaneously and this will definitely  bring result

1) Post on Facebook. Post  in your profile and other Facebook  groups where you are allowed to post

2) Post in Twitter and post in Twitter groups

3) Post in your profile LinkedIn profile as well as send a personal message to the  candidate on LinkedIn

4) Post a cool picture of a job opening in Instagram

5) Post in more than one job portal

6) Download resumes from job portals, make a note of the candidate's phone number and keep calling candidates non stop. When I say non stop I am not saying that you call one candidate repeatedly but I am referring to calling more than 1 candidate.  So if your target is to successfully hire 1 candidate then call 300 hundred candidates and out of that 90 per cent will be switched off, not reachable, not interested, wrong number, invalid number, salary expectation not met, profile not fit etc and then out of that 10 per cent which is to say 30 candidates will express their interest in attending an interview out of that 30, 30 to 40 per cent may do time pass and so the number boils down to 12 and out of 12 candidates, one or two will be selected and out of that 1 would join.

7)  Send text messages to a minimum of 50  candidates a day.

8) Send WhatsApp message with the job opening. Note as a word of caution if you send messages to more than 20 or 30 candidates in 1 day then  WhatsApp may suspect that you are a spammer and block you. It happened to me when I had sent genuine job-related information. I somehow restored my permanent WhatsApp ban
and now it is working fine. So while you send messages on WhatsApp
I would suggest you can increase the number slowly and gradually. May be let us say you can send WhatsApp messages to 6 or 7 candidates on day 1, day2, day 3 and continue doing this till day 5 than on day 6 increase it to 10 candidates and after day 11 increase it to 15 candidates and keep increasing the number gradually

9) Send emails to as many candidates as possible who may be a good match for the profile that you are hiring

10) Connect with freelancers and ask them to refer a candidate and tell them that once an XYZ candidate gets selected then you will pay them XYZ money and you can work out commission part

So follow these 10 steps consistently till you successfully hire a candidate.  I assure you that I followed just 3 steps out of the 10 steps I had mentioned above. and guess what?  I got the result with no experience, no degree, no diploma. Now if you want to hire more candidates then increase the number of candidates you contact in step6, step 7, step 8 and step 9. Trust me you do these then your boss/manager will be extremely impressed and well will definitely give you a pay hike and may even give you incentives. Now this will happen, assuming that your boss/manager is a sane person and you have a good rapport with your boss
. Now before you get a pay hike you can talk to your boss/manager that if you exceed the target then how much will he or she pay you as incentives and well you would definitely make more and I am sure everyone wants something more not just in terms of money but goodwill, great relationship etc and so when you follow these then it is a win for you, for your boss, for your company, for candidates, for freelancers etc. This will make you a bright star in your space and may add to your brand

So now I may not necessarily be involved in recruitment but I have made a tie-up wherein I will earn my commission

So to summarize this again follow step 1 to 10 consistently till you get a result.  Now you may not see the result on day one but you would definitely see a result if you keep going with this on a consistent basis. I have tried this and it works
